On December 30, 1999, the band participated in what is known as "Bandfest".  The group presented its 1999 Field Show for the several thousand people who came out to see the groups perform.  The band was also given the opportunity to take a tour of one of the many float building facilities and was treated to lunch inside the Rose Bowl.
